Outwalker won double Gold at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2024 – notching up a very impressive total score of 95/100 into the bargain.

The competition, which is the largest in the world, attracts entries from major international producers to local craft distillers. What’s more, tastings by the expert judges – who are among the most respected in the spirits industry – are carried out blind. Which means their results are both impartial and credible. 

This isn’t the first recognition Outwalker has received since its launch late last year, having topped some taste tests. However, this is the most high profile in international terms. What’s more, receiving a medal from the San Francisco Worlds competition is a major coup for any spirits producer hoping to earn recognition in the industry.

Outwalker, a blend of fine single malt, grain and pot still Irish whiskeys unique matured four ways – in ex-Oloroso sherry, burgundy, rye and virgin American oak casks – was created by Jillian Vose, one of the four founders of the restless spirit.

A result of this kind in San Francisco is rare for a new whiskey brand like ours, which makes it a testament to the extraordinary skill and expertise Jillian brought to the task.
